Shipping and Handling Policy

We ship Australia wide!

Shipping charges are calculated at the time of finalising your order and are not included in the cost of goods displayed on our website.

We use SENDLE as our shipping partner for Australia wide deliveries. SENDLE is Australia’s 100% carbon neutral delivery provider. 

Shipping Time Frames

We aim to ship your order from Sydney within 24-48hrs of you placing and paying for your order. Note that these timeframes exclude weekends and public holidays. 

We strive to fulfill your order and ship your product at the earliest, we cannot control or take responsibility for courier delays, please see approximate time frames below:

NSW METRO: 1 - 3 Business Days after dispatch

VIC METRO: 2 - 4 Business Days after dispatch

QLD METRO: 3 - 4 Business Days after dispatch

Regional NSW/VIC/QLD: 7 - 10 Business Days after dispatch

WA: 5 - 10 Business Days after dispatch

NT: 10 - 12 Business Days after dispatch

All goods are sold on ex-Wrapped Gestures warehouse basis. The property of the goods passes to the purchaser only after the price has been paid in full and shipped out from our end. 

Please note:

  • No PO Boxes are accepted.
  • We do not provide services for gifts to be delivered on a specific date unless it is within the Sydney region which comes at an additional shipping cost. 
  • The risk of the goods passes to the purchaser on dispatch. Wrapped Gestures is not responsible for any damage which occurs to the product during delivery. However, we can offer insurance for high-value items, to our customers.

Shipping Delays

Expect delays in delivery during peak mailing periods like Christmas and other public holidays. Unfortunately, courier delays are not in our control. 

We do our best to get your order shipped from our warehouse, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no delays due to the courier networks or issues. We will do our best to investigate any delays on your behalf, but there will be few situations well beyond our control once the packages has been shipped for deliver. 

Note that we do not issue any refunds for delayed gifts as result of courier delays.

Should someone be present in person to receive the delivery package?

If the recipient isn’t present to receive the package at the address, the postal service will usually leave it in a safe location (if it’s deemed safe to do so). If it’s just not possible to leave the gift somewhere safe, a notice will be left with instructions on how to collect or have the gift re-delivered. If any issue arises with the package delivery, please contact us and we can help investigate the shipping matter for you. Please note we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time of the day or on a particular day. 

Incorrect Shipping Details 

In the event of an incorrect shipping details provided to us by error and the order has been dispatched, we are not responsible to retrieve the package. 

If the package is returned to us by the courier service, we will be happy resend the package to the correct shipping address, but it will incur an additional shipping charge that is applicable. 

Note that we will not be able to provide any refunds for products that have been dispatched and are lost due to incorrect address details provided to us.

Hampers with Food and beverage contents 

Once the order has been shipped, we do not accept any responsibility for any food, beverage or chocolate items that has been affected during the hotter months while in transit. Our shipping services do their best to package and place such packages in required conditions, but please be aware that in hotter months such items have a risk of deterioration. We ensure all our products are stored in cooler conditions until they are packed and dispatched to minimise risk. 

Hampers ordered and shipped with Alcohol

Parcels containing Alcohol must be received at the delivery address by a person who is 18 yrs or over. The recipient may be required to provide a valid identification for proof of age to sign for the product. Deliveries containing alcohol cannot be left if the destination is unattended and will be transported to the nearest courier Agent.
